Ed, portrayed by Barry Corbin, is a member of Charlie Goodson's therapy group. Ed is the oldest member of Charlie's therapy group and is known for making frequent racist - or, in the case of Patrick, homophobic - jokes about everyone in the group. Often everyone insults him right back. Ed's insults and criticisms of others is actually because he holds excessive standards to himself, which leads to issues with anger control. He fought in Vietnam during his service in the Army.
